We are George and Simone Roodselaar, live in the Netherlands and have 2 grown up children. We run an interior company: Artop. www.artop.nl. Other than that, I paint abstract paintings, that also beautifully decorate Riccavita. www.siemart.com

After visiting Curacao several times, we decided to build a villa here. We love Curacao for its relaxed atmosphere, the friendly people and the beautiful beaches and nature. Building is another thing we love. Having our own interior company gave us the opportunity to create something beautiful once again. Artop  took care of the entire design as well as the execution of Riccavita’s interior, we produced it all in the Netherlands before shipping it to Curacao.

We have stayed at many holiday accommodations ourselves, with both positive and not so positive experiences. We used these experiences while designing Riccavita to allow our guests to have a wonderful holiday. We took as much care as possible in all the little details and provided the most luxurious options and products. We wanted to create a space that actually has nothing to improve, with an atmosphere that you will always remember, and that brings you memories, you will blissfully share with your friends and family.
